Well, I might have worried that my favourite holiday (aside from a close tie with Halloween) might pass by with little entertainment, but I would be wrong. Frank, Janet and I went to Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club in Newcastle for a lovely dinner. It was difficult for a moment because the menu had Australian lobster, scallops, sea trout, mussels and other critters I was tempted to eat. In fact, no vegetarian items were listed. I asked the waiter, and she reported back that the chef would be happy to make something special for me, and special it was! he made a seared potato gnocchi with mushroom and tomato and a light cream sauce to the side. I should have taken a photo, but it was so good I scarfed it up before the thought crossed my mind. To top it off Janet got me a sweet card, and that following a funny and sweet message from my loving husband and texts from my precious boy and I was... satisfied. Off to bed early... Lot's of work to complete tomorrow getting ready for our first sampling event on Sunday. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
